Apprentice Now and Waldorf University have partnered to create an innovative pathway for Apprentice Now students to enhance their career readiness and marketability through higher education. Apprentice Now students can apply certain completed coursework towards a Waldorf Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, receive a discount on tuition, and access the Waldorf Learning Partner Scholarship awarded six times per year .

HOW IT WORKS
The following certifications from Apprentice Now have been evaluated to potentially fulfill lower and upper division requirements in Waldorf University’s Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity and Bachelors of Applied Sciences Program in Cybersecurity within required courses and elective options. To be eligible to receive any of the credits recommended below, students will send proof of completion to [email protected] . Proof of completion is a copy of the original certificate of completion from Apprentice Now indicating the courses the student completed.

Note: Up to 75-percent of undergraduate courses can be transferred into an undergraduate degree program based upon the degree requirements. Among the acceptable credits may be Advanced Placement (AP) tests, College Level Examination Program (CLEP), Prometric DSST Exams (DANTES), prior college credit, technical credit, military service credit, professional/life learning credit, and/or credit by examination.
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM WALDORF:
- Waldorf’s terms are 8 weeks long.
- Classes do not have any set class times, just assignment submission deadlines.
- Textbooks for all online students are paid for by Waldorf, and almost all our resources are eTextbooks.
- For undergraduate students, full time enrollment is taking two course simultaneously.
- There are two “tracks” – A and B. You can only take courses in one track at a time, and your advisor will build out your degree path based on track, but you can change tracks if needed!
- Each week begins on a Wednesday and ends midnight the following Tuesday. There are typically three assignments each week per course:
- Due Saturday by 11:59pm CST – Discussion board post
- Due Tuesday by 11:59pm CST – Response to a classmate’s discussion board post
- Due Tuesday by 11:59pm CST – The weekly course assignment
- You can work ahead up to three weeks in each class
